Eric W. Howard, DMD, PhD
Dr. Howard completed his DMD degree at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and received his PhD and completed his Orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester. He has worked with cleft palate teams at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic and at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In 2007, Dr. Howard traveled to Nigeria to lecture on caring for cleft palate patients.
Dr. Howard and his wife Darlene have two wonderful children, Alex (10) and Lily (4).
Manish Lamichane, DDS, MMSc
Dr. Lamichane completed his DDS degree at the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. He completed a General Practice Residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He practiced general dentistry for 4 years in Massachusetts while serving as a clinical instructor in the Department of Oral Medicine at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He completed his Masters in Medical Science in Orthodontics at Harvard. In addition to practicing at LOA, Dr. Lamichane is part of the health care team at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic.
Dr. Lamichane and his wife, Sara, have two delightful daughters, Juliet (2), and Maya (1).
Andrew C. Long, DDS, MSD
Dr. Andy Long completed his DDS and his orthodontic training at the Temple University School of Dentistry. He practiced with his father, Dr. Ross Long Sr. and his brother Rusty for many years at LOA. Dr. Long has worked at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic, the first cleft palate clinic in the United States, founded by Dr. Long’s grandfather Dr. Herbert K. Cooper. In addition to his private, Dr. Long has been providing orthodontic care for the past 27 years at the Milton Hershey School for children with economic or social need.
Dr. Andy Long and his wife Julie have two loving daughters, Lea and Lauren and enjoy spending time with their granddaughter Kalie. Dr. Long is also an avid fisherman.
All of the doctors at Long Orthodontic Associates are members of the Lancaster Dental Society, Pennsylvania Dental Society and American Association of Orthodontists. All are board certified by the American Board of Orthodontists. Dr. Howard and Dr. Lamichane are certified Invisalign providers.
